At Invoizo (developed by Native Bytes), we are committed to protecting your business data. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your information within the Invoizo mobile application.
1. Our Privacy Philosophy
Invoizo is designed as an Offline-First application. We believe your business data belongs to you. Most of your data—including sales, inventory, and customer ledgers—is stored directly on your physical device and is never uploaded to our servers unless you explicitly opt-in for cloud backup features.
2. Information Collection and Use
To provide our services effectively, we may use certain features of your device:
- Camera Usage: Used strictly for scanning Barcodes and QR codes to quickly identify products. We do not take photos or record videos.
- Bluetooth: Used solely to discover and connect to Bluetooth Thermal Printers for generating physical receipts.
- Storage: Used to save generated PDF invoices and maintain local database records of your business transactions.
- Internet: Required for processing premium subscriptions through Google Play and for optional crash reporting/analytics.
3. Local Data Storage
All business records, including your Inventory Items and Khata (Customer Ledgers), are stored in a secure local database on your device. Uninstalling the app will result in the permanent deletion of this data unless you have manually backed up your device or exported your data as PDFs.
4. Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party services to ensure app stability and manage subscriptions:
- Google Play Billing: Handles all premium subscription transactions. We do not see or store your payment card details.
- Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics: We collect anonymized usage data (e.g., button clicks, feature usage) and crash reports to help us fix bugs and improve the app experience. This data does not contain personal business records.
5. Premium Subscriptions & Trials
Invoizo offers a 7-day free trial with full access to premium features. After the trial period, certain limits apply (e.g., on inventory items and ledger customers) and watermarks are added to PDFs. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time via the Google Play Store settings.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect the data stored within the app. However, as the device owner, you are responsible for maintaining the physical security of your device and ensuring regular backups of your important business documents.
7. Children's Privacy
Our app is intended for business owners and does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13.
