By downloading, installing, or using the Kameti Pro mobile application, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Architecture & Data Ownership (Offline-First Approach)

Kameti Pro is built with an Offline-First architecture designed to protect user privacy:

Local On-Device Storage: All your financial records, including Kameti groups, committee members, monthly contribution ledgers, bidding records, payment statuses, and expense trackers, are stored locally on your device's internal storage inside an encrypted local database.
No Default Data Uploads: In offline mode, your data never leaves your device. We do not have access to your local financial records, committee details, or member lists.
Optional Cloud Backup: If you choose to enable cloud synchronization or account sign-in, your data is securely transmitted over HTTPS/TLS and stored in encrypted cloud infrastructure solely for multi-device sync and backup.

2. Prominent Disclosure: Contact Permission (READ_CONTACTS)

To provide a seamless experience when creating or populating Kameti member profiles, Kameti Pro requests access to your phone's contacts via the android.permission.READ_CONTACTS permission.

How we use Contact Data:

Local Contact Selection Only: When you tap "Add Member from Contacts", the app opens your system contact picker to allow you to select a specific contact's Name and Phone Number to autofill the member details within your Kameti group.
NO Background Access or Uploads: We DO NOT scan, read, copy, upload, store, or transmit your contact list or address book to our servers or any third-party servers. All contact selection is handled on-device in real time.
NO Selling or Marketing: We NEVER sell, share, trade, or monetize your contacts or address book information with advertisers, third parties, or marketing partners.
Optional Runtime Permission: Granting contact permission is completely optional. You can deny this permission and manually type member names and phone numbers without any loss of app functionality.

3. Types of Information We Collect and Process

Depending on your usage of Kameti Pro, we may process the following types of information:

4. In-App Purchases & Billing Data

Our premium features and subscriptions are managed exclusively through Google Play Billing Services. When you purchase a Pro plan:

All financial transaction processing is handled safely by Google LLC under the Google Privacy Policy.
Native Bytes does not collect, view, or store your debit/credit card numbers, bank account numbers, or payment billing addresses.

5. Third-Party Services & SDKs

Kameti Pro uses trusted Google services to ensure app stability and securely process transactions:

Google Play Services & Billing: For in-app purchase handling and subscription verification.
Firebase Authentication & Cloud Storage (Optional): For optional user sign-in and encrypted cloud backup if enabled by the user.

We do not integrate any third-party ad networks, social tracking SDKs, or data broker analytics that monitor your behavior across other apps or websites.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We strictly adhere to a zero-data-sharing policy:

We DO NOT SELL, RENT, SHARE, OR TRADE your personal or financial data to advertisers, data brokers, or third-party marketers under any circumstances.
We only disclose information if required to comply with applicable laws, judicial proceedings, court orders, or governmental regulations.

7. Data Retention & Account Deletion Policy

In accordance with Google Play User Data Policies, users have full control over their data retention and deletion:

Local Data Deletion

All local data stored on your phone can be permanently deleted at any time by:

Deleting specific Kameti groups or member entries directly inside the app.
Clearing App Data via your Android settings: Settings > Apps > Kameti Pro > Storage > Clear Data.
Uninstalling the application from your device.

Cloud Account & Data Deletion Requests

If you have created a cloud account or enabled Cloud Sync, you can request the permanent deletion of your account and all associated cloud records at any time:

In-App Deletion: Go to Profile / Settings > Delete Account & Data to trigger instant removal.
Email Request: Send an email to nativebytesofficial@gmail.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" from your registered email address. We will verify your request and permanently erase all your cloud data within 30 days.

8. Data Security

We take administrative, technical, and physical measures to safeguard your information:

Local app databases are isolated inside Android's secure application sandbox.
All internet communication (e.g., cloud sync or billing verification) is encrypted using industry-standard HTTPS / TLS 1.3 protocols.
We recommend keeping your Android device protected with a passcode, PIN, or biometric lock to prevent unauthorized physical access to your device.

9. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Kameti Pro is designed for general adult audiences involved in savings committees and personal expense management. The app is not directed toward children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided personal data, we will immediately delete it from our systems.
